Saturday started off very well for Beauchamp Motorsports with a 1st place finish. After pulling 4th place on the land rush start Beauchamp moved into 1st place by lap 4 of the 10 lap race. The 1.7 mile long track created very grueling conditions (80 degree weather with a very moist track) put the Motive Gear Chevy Silverado to the test. The win put him in a tie for 1st in the Sportsman Stock Class series point standings.

Sunday, July 09, 2006 Round 6
Very similar track conditions to Saturday, Beauchamp felt very confident for the start of the race. Unfortunately, the bad start on Sunday put Beauchamp far back in the field. Once settled in he was in 8th position and started making his way towards the front. Quickly he moved into second place with 4 laps to go. With mostly one lane groove conditions, Beauchamp was forced to settle with 2nd place, but putting him once again on the podium. Leaving Bark River with 1st in points in the Sportsman stock class (4 point lead). Next race again in Bark River on August 12th & 13th.
